Somewhere between cream and yellow
Bombazine, a blended fabric of wool worsted and silk, comes from the word 'bombycinus', used to refer both to something silken and the color of the silk moth – a creamy pale yellow just like this one. Bombazine sits between Ringwold Ground and Farrow's cream. It takes its name from twilled dress fabric of worsted and silk.
